(non)sense
we believe that the inherently unequal character of late capitalism has led
to a freeze-dry in popular poetry (in the last twenty years). this is a
sociopolitical fact deserving political action:
to reclaim poetry from the
'objective'
'descriptive'
'free form'
terrain.

we believe that, contrary to current etiquette,
poets should write on-of-and-for themselves;
that poetry should not be concerned only with objects
and with the metaphorization of lived experience,
but with the open and bald fact of existence itself.

we believe that “I” is valid in poetry.
we believe in the reclamation and mobilization of “I” in poetry as such.

we believe in spending weeks trying to capture in words feelings
which lasted for only seven seconds,
on sheets of paper we could just as well save as burn.
